[Resolved]  Tata Motors — Customer Service - TATA Zest

Hi, I own Zest XT and really not happy with the way issues are tackled at TATA. After buying Zest in Oct 2014 (which is my first TATA car) from TATA Oberoi in Noida Sec 63, I felt happy as car is really nice and it reflects how much TATA must have invested in it. However, over a period of 3 month I am now reconsidering any future relationship with TATA or recommending TATA to anyone. Below is the sequence of issues I came across 1. Right after 15 days I started encountering issue with car getting stopped while driving (frustrating when you are in heavy traffic or traffic signal). For this I visited twice to Oberoi, however, they were not able to identify the root cause 2. Two days back (Jan 12th) I had my car's first service. Then I got to know that it requires Software update, hence, from Sec 63 they sent car to Sec 1. With full fuel tank I received back my car with less than half of the tank. On top of it, there is no explanation even after complaint 3. It also had issue of weird sound beneath car while taking U turns 4. When car was delivered back to me, its interiors were full of dust and door pads (not sure why TATA placed cloth on doors) were full of Greece 5. I complaint for it and post that on Jan 14th my car was taken once again to resolve pending issues 6. They took 6 hrs, however, issue is still pending and cleanliness is not at all taken care of 7. Right after car was delivered, I got call from Oberoi for feedback. Surprisingly, while I am giving the feedback the lady over the phone preferred talking to someone else. When I checked if she is listening to me or not, she said sir please continue and then in the middle of the conversation she dropped the call I am really not sure that if Zest has these issues in just 3 months, how much more pain it is going to be moving ahead. Even after few issues I recommended Zest to many of my friends and relatives in the first 2 months, with a hope the it will resolve soon. However, now even I am reconsidering my decision to be part of TATA family. While I am raising complaint, I am not very confident if TATA is going to do anything about it. Sanjeev [protected]

The same situation with me even. I will not recommend anyone if they ask me about the car.

Gear box, clutch, engine noise, Fan sound are the problem with my car which is of 3 months old and not even with 3000 kms far.

Its brand new car which shouldnt have any troubles for at least couple of years but it started with only two months.

Worst car I ever deserve this.
