Tata Motors — Unfair Vehicle Service with respect to AMC | |||
Hello, On 30th January 2014, I approached Tatamotors, Tolichowki, Hyderabad for servicing my vehicle.One of the Malik car's Staff attended on my vehicle and insisted me to enroll for the AMC(Annual Maintenance Contract) and asked me to pay some amount to get good benefits while servicing like free oil change and filters change etc.I said that am not interested but still he insisted and told me that overall on cost I will benefit by enrolling for AMC as it will be valid for two services.So I enrolled and he took the vehicle for service.During this service I got AMC benefits.Please note that he never mentioned that AMC expires in an year and it has to used within an year or certain amount of kilometers in my case 34000.I again approached Tatamotors, Tolichowki, Hyderabad on 13/11/2014 and asked them to service my vehicle under AMC for which they denied citing a reason that my car has to travel 34000 kms for AMC to be applicable.My car travelled 33000 approximately at that time.Even during this time none of them told me that AMC expires in an year and I have to use it.On 25th May 2015 I again approached Tatamotors, Tolichowki, Hyderabad for a service as my vehicle had some problems and asked them to take my vehicle for a second service under AMC.To my utter disappointment and shock he simply says it is expired and my vehicle is not eligible for AMC service.My question is when Malik cars staff can work so sincerely while enrolling their customers for AMC which is again not a small amount.Why are they not sincere in making things clear to the customer about AMC.It is their responsibility to clearly tell all the conditions involved.If it is about to expire we should get an intimation over mail or phone about the same that our AMC is going to expire and we should go for a service immediately.Nothing happened in my case.They were least bothered and denied taking my vehicle for service under AMC.I would rather love to spend the amount spent on AMC to charity rather than to Malik Cars /Tata Motors.I either want my half money spent on AMC registration to be refunded or a second service under AMC. Request you to look into the matter and expedite.I can't keep my vehicle in a bad condition for a long time and roam around just because Malik cars staff is doing an unfair service.Kindly request an immediate action.
