[Resolved] Tata Photon / Tata DoCoMo — Demanding to pay for services not used | |||
Hi, I used Tata Photon Data card- Photon number [protected] for long time and had opted out of Tata phton as i moved to differnt city. But they kept calling me asking me not to discontinue their services in exchange they offered me a zero rental plan in which they told me that services will continue but i ll not get any bill so that in future i can again switch to their services easily if i want to. so i agreed..but now after 6 months they had started asking me for bill amount of Rs. 2151. I dont even have the photon data card and not even used it . They are asking me to pay for service which i didnot avail. They never intimated me that the photon card is active now and that i am being charged. Even when the connection was hold, i had called photon to disconnect the service but they did not take proper action. i raised a requst to have the connection disconnected. a lady from tata team called and said she will disconnect and take the charges back. but now again i got email from them that the amount is pending. Manoj kumar from photon called yesterday and behaved rudely yesterday saying i will have to pay the money. Need suggestion from the forum to recomment how i should take this forward. Do i pay the amount get the receept and raise a complaint in NCDRC? or should i take them directly to consumer court. What document should i have for this. Is there a team in Tata whom i can raise an escalation before going to consumer court? I have had lot of respect for TATA but i am loosing it now.
