[Resolved]  Tata Sky — Cheated with a fraudulent offer

I received a call from Tata SKY on 7th Oct 2014 with an offer " Pay Rs.3500 and your existing package will be extended by 6 months. The offer was one day only till 6 pm". I paid the fee online. However instead of extending till April 2015 my due date is extended till Feb 2015. I called and complained. After numerous follow up, I was told that there was a miscalculation and I have to pay another Rs.300. I refused to pay and asked for a refund which is not resolved as yet. I filed two complaints, my first complaint was closed by TATA SKY unilaterally on 10th Oct. I filed second complaint on 12th Oct which is not resolved. I must have called 15 times and spoken to 8-10 peoples including Agents, Senior Agents, Team Leaders. I also called the nodal officer at[protected] which went unanswered. Can't believe company like TATA SKY can be so unprofessional. Since I have spoken with several customer care people, my experience is that the 1st and 2nd level of people, Agents and Senior Agents are of no use and would not solve you problem at all. They are also rude and gives false promises and do nothing. You should ask them to allow to speak with the Team Leader or Senior Team Leaders. I am now going to email to the nodal officer and if possible file a legal complaint with consumer court. I sincerly believe, government also should do something to penalize such companies who cheat customers. Thanks Raj

Tata Sky contacted me and extended my period to April 2015 as was originally promised by the person who cheated me. However Tata SKY did not compensate me for all my loss of time and phone calls. They however apologised me over phone.
