Tata Sky — Connection | |||
Hi, My subscriber ID is [protected] in the name of Mr. Jaitesh Sharma. We have just shifted our flat in silver oaks apartment dlf phase 1, Gurgaon. On installation of the TV, the person had come to attend the complaint of TV not getting signals due to which the connection was not working. Now this house has a very old Dish for Tata Sky installed in which the camera has gone bad as told by the service agent from TATA Sky. I told him that on taking my personnel connection I was not given the dish stating that the said society has the mother dish and doesnt require a dish. In case I move somewhere where the connection is not there I would be getting the same. This guy who came just fiddled with the wires and told me that the camera would cost me Rs.450/- or else I would have to spend with the wiring cost as applicable. I asked him that why I cant get my dish he said its against company rules to provide dish tv in such places as TATA SKY is paying rent to the society. And why should I spend on the wiring. Its the cable connection responsibility to install the connection. That is installation. I fail to understand the logic behind not giving the dish i have with my connection or doing the wiring activity as a part of the installation. In the same society there are many houses having the dish installed. This is very harassing on the part of TATA SKY. In case this is not being solved I would like to take this up with the consumer redressal and would like to know for what am i paying in case connection is not revived in any situation. This guy was adamnent and was not ready to solve any problem as such. Just picked up his bag and got his sheet signed. He just said I am not responsible talk to the company. If you cant solve it kindly refund the money for the connection and disconnect the same. There are many other competitive DTH service providers in the market. I will make it ensured that the entire society is made to know that every time they have to shift their places they have to bear these kind of illogical costs. Was this information helpful? | |||
