Tata Sky — Discontinuation of package after accepting monthly payment | |||
I have a Tatasky connection, a Metro package which cost Rs. 500/ per month. My consumer ID is [protected]. Since I was leaving the country for a period of around 3 months and to ensure continuation of Tatasky connection, I paid a sum of RS. 2500/ on the 8th of July 2016. This was paid online and an acknowledgement was received from Tatasky with a very clear message that my next payment was due on 10th December. I have this message on my cell. I returned to India on the 12th October and realised when I switched on the TV that only regional and news channels were available for viewing. On calling customer care I get a recorded message saying 'sorry you are not viewing all the channels you have subscribed to and your channels have been deactivated". Even after repeated requests to cust.care they refuse to restore my connection saying that the Metro pack is no longer available with a monthly payment option. Which is untrue. They are asking me to pay an additional amount and to change the package, only then will I have my connection restored. I am a senior citizen and my evenings are spent mainly watching TV. I have asked them to please refund my money as I cannot tolerate the countless phone calls on a daily basis. I request you to kindly help me with this. Thank you, Deepika Sadasivan Bangalore Ph.
