[Resolved]  Tata Sky — No resolution for Hudhud affected areas - Comp # FAV2RAF

To Whom So Ever It May Concern: Hello, My name is Roopa and our subscriber id is [protected]. Our account is in the name of Mr. T. Rajendra Kumar. We are from visakhapatnam which was affected by the cyclone Hudhud.on 12th October 2014. After the mishap, our power lines were reset by 16th in most of the areas and by 17th all the lines are back to normalcy. We raised a complaint on 17th October 2014 stating that our Tata Sky signal is lost due to the Hudhud and the complaint # is FAV2RAF as per one of your floor supervisors. At the time of raising the complaint we were informed that a technician would visit our place and the services will be resumed within 96 hours maximum. We were also asked to pay Rs. 170.00 to get this issue fixed. I felt very bad at that time because without any minimum compassion for what has happened to us, they are charging Rs. 170.00 to help us get back the service. They were not considerate at all for even the mishap that took place here. I still agreed to it because we had no other means to know what is happening around in the city if we don't have T.V. I waited for more than 96 hours and then called them to enquire about the status but none of them have any clue about it. Each one of them give different information. In fact agents say that I raised the first complaint on 20th and their floor supervisors say that I raised on 17th. I paid for the whole year subscription already and from almost 2 weeks I am not having connection to watch the T.V. I called about 24 times and all the time, I would be offered for a call back from the concerned department or I am still being asked to wait for another 96 hours. Mr. Santosh (floor Supervisor gave me another deadline of 22nd evening or 23rd maximum but when I call them today, they either RELEASE my call or say that they will arrange for a call back. I am paying STD charges for the phone, I am paying Rs. 170.00 for the issue to get resolved and above all I am paying for the subscription that I am not watching from last 2 weeks. How much right is it on their part for doing this way. I am very upset with this kind of misleading company. Before submitting the audio clips that I have for each of the call that I made to Tata Sky at the consumer court online, I was asked to first submit the complaint in writing to you and then I have another person to forward and then finally I can file a case against the company. That is the only reason why I am submitting this complaint in writing now. If this complaint is not considered seriously, I would be left with no other option, other than forwarding it to the next level. I have the audio clips for every conversation that I had with your agents, floor supervisors and also the team leader and in addition to those, I also have the clips in which my call was deliberately released by few agents and even one of the Supervisor named Siva. I am hoping to get a call in next 24hours regarding the same. If not, I would be compelled to take this issue to the next level. Roopa.
