Subscriber id [protected] 1. NO SIGNAL FOR TWO WEEKS 2. BUT THEY REDUCE BALANCE IN ACCOUNT 3. COMPLAINTS NOT RESPONDED OR ATTENDED 4. THEY SAY I HAVE MULTIPLE SERVICE ID UNDER ONE CEL NUMBER 5. BUT THEY GAVE RECEIVED MONEY AND GAVE CONNECTION FOR MULTIPLE SERVICE ID WITH ONE CEL NUMBER TO WHICH THEY SENT MESSAGE OF WORK ORDER FOR DISH / SET TOP BOX FIXING / ACTIVATION ETC 6. AFTER GIVING MULTIPLE SERVICE NUMBER CONNECTION WITH ONE CEL NUMBER, THEIR SYSTEM SAYS I COULD NOT LOGIN FOR THE SECOND SERVICE ID SINCE THE CEL NUMBER IS ALREADY REGD FOR PREV ID. IF I CANT LOGIN WITH SAME CEL NUMBER FOR SECOND CONNECTION WHY THEY ALLOWED SECOND CONNECTION WITH SAME CEL NUMBER? 7 TATA SKY DONT HAVE NET CHAT PROVISION FOR PROMPT INTERACTIVE COST FREE RESOLUTION OF COMPLAINTS. I HAD TO WASTER MONEY ON CALLS TO CC WHICH IS GOING ROUND FROM 1 TO 9 AND THEY ALSO PUT ADVT AT CUSTOMERS COST. 8. TATA SKY DONT HAVE EMAIL ID FOR CUSTOMERS LODGING COMPLAINTS COST FREE WITHOUT WAITING FOR CC TO ATTEND CALLS - THE CUSTOMERS CAN TALK WITH COMPANY CALL CENTER STAFF ONLY AFTER GOING THROUGH SEVERAL MINUTES OF BUTTON PRESSING FROM 1 TO 9 9, TATA SKY HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER EVEN IN MAJOR CITIES FOR CUSTOMERS TO PERSONALLY GO AND GET THEIR COMPLAINTS REDRESSED. 10. TATA SKY BILLS PROMPTLY, MESSAGE PROMPTLY AND RECOVER PROMPTLY EVEN FOR ONE METER WIRE DURING INSTALLATION BUT IN CASE OF NO SIGNALS AND SERVICE THEY DONT DEDUCT CHARGES OR ATTEND MESSAGES OR REDRESS COMPLAINTS 11. IF TATA SKY IS SURE OF GOOD SERVICE WHY THEY HIDE UNDER FACELESS CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER FOR ALL CUSTOMERS TO BANG THEIR HEADS REPEATEDLY?

1st April 2015: I was informed by tenants on 9th April 2015 that there is no signal for abt 10 days 10th April 2015: Still No Signal - Tatasky informs through TV channels: 'due to "upgradation" there is signal failures and asked subscribers to send SMS NS to 56633 and missed call to 08899888998'. 11th April 2015 : COMPLAINT: We sent SMS NS to 56633 and missed call to 08899888998. The same returns without registration of complaint saying "your mobile number is registered with multiple subscriber id. Call CC". Call to CC goes round and round from 1 to 9 without anyone picking up. IVR told us to press 1 for CC to contact us within 24 hours. Nobody from Tatasky contacted us as promised. 12th April 2015: COMPLAINT TO CC: ref.no. HN19J61 - REPLY by - CC Prakash - "mechanic will call and solve problem within 24 hours" 12th April 2015: COMPLAINT: ref.no. 138398772157 - REPLY by - CC Silambarasan - "mechanic will call solve problem within 24 hours" 13th April 2015 : REPLY - Tatasky - 9551959292 - mechanic Mohan: he told that work order given to him at Tiruvallur which is at long distance, hence he will direct someone near DTH TV location to attend signal problem 13th April 2015 : REPLY -Tatasky - SMS - AM-MYTS - we will resolve complaint ASAP .. in lieu of pending complaint a/c credited with 3 days subscription charges" 13th April 2015: COMPLAINT: I NOTED EMAIL ID [email protected] FROM SOMEWHERE WHICH IS NOT MADE VISIBLE TO CUSTOMERS LIKE CC NUMBERS. We are unable to address your query right now. Please register your query on the New Request form on our website, and we will get back to you" 14th April 2015: COMPLAINT - I WAITED CHAT TO OPEN FROM 100TH IN QUEUE TO 1 - THEN - net chat with Mylabathula Martin Anil - chat ref id. 2194002 - complaint number HN19J6M THE MECHANIC CALLED, CAME & SET RIGHT DISH POSITION BY 4 PM & COMPLAINT RESOLVED. It looks that after 'upgradation' the dish has to be changed slightly to a new position monitored by the mechanic in his digital meter. MOST OF THE PROBLEM FACED BY CUSTOMERS ARE IN GETTING CC STAFF TO NOTE THE COMPLAINT AND AGAIN IN COMPANY NOT PROMPTLY SENDING THE MECHANIC TO REALIGN THE DISH. WHILE INSTALLING THEY SEND MECHANIC IN TWO HOURS. FOR SIGNAL CORRECTION THEY SEND MECHANIC AFTER TWO DAYS. DONT GIVE UP. IT IS THE FAULT OF THE COMPANY. THEY HAVE LACUNAE IN SYSTEM. THEY LET US DOWN IN THIS. TATASKY HAS SPOILED THE NAME OF TATA BEYOND REPAIR. (1) The company accepted payment and installed multiple DTH with multiple subscriber IDs with same mobile number but after installation, refuses login and complaints saying cel number has multiple subscriber ID. If Cel number has multiple Subs ID why login and complaints should be refused? After all subscriber ID is unique about which login and complaints are made and they can very well note the complaints. Even SMS NS 1117349397 to 56633 was rejected.
Tata Sky customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

I am not getting HD channels and other channels signal since two weeks.
(1) Pl go thru the steps I have gone abv
(2) Note all mail / msg / calls with company with date, time & whom u contacted
(3) get ref no. for each complaint / talk & mention in next communication
(4) mail to [protected]@tatasky.com - it saves you money - gives u record of complaints
(5) enter chat with company - wait in queue - it also saves u money - inform all prev complaint numbers - get chat id no. & new complaint number.
(6) lodge complaint with https://www.consumercomplaints.in and with other consumer help forums
It is not a big thing to solve signal problem. The mechanic did it within minutes with his digital meter. The big thing is to get staff by calling so called toll free numbers - It is frustrating. So go thro email & chat. You wont lose money atleast.
