Tata Sky — Overcharging

TataSky ID No : [protected] We registered for the basic package at 1500/- (including cost of setop box & activation) in June. We chose Grandsports package, which is advertised at 250/- a month on their website. But we have been consistently charged Rs.470/- This is the 2nd such issue I have faced with TataSky since instalation. Find below the mail on the first issue, which wasn't solved to our satisfaction at all. "On 04th July afternoon, when I registered, I was promised that the installation will happen between 5 & 6pm. this was confirmed through sms & phone. No body turned up. I called the customer care around 6pm & they said they would escalate the issue. I got a call again confirming my address & that he would install it in a few minutes. No one turned up. On 5th June, I called the callcenter again around 1.30pm, I asked to be patched through to the manager, but Sitaram(very indifferently) cut the call. So I called again, this time the representative put me on hold while he was busy punching the keys. While I kept asking him to patch me to the manager, he very casually kept saying "hold on", while he fought with the keyboard. He then suddenly put me on hold tone & then cut the call. While I type this call i'm on the phone trying to get in touch with these nitwits, been in the queue for the last 10 mins. I am talking to Akanksha now, she is apologetic & says she will transfer me to a senior executive but i have been waiting for over 18mins to no avail. They want me to cut the call, but ill be waiting till the battery dies out on my cordless. The irony is that the recorded voice is saying that "Your call is important to us & we will connect you to our representative".HAHA! Finally after the long wait, one Mr. Rajendran, apparently a senior manager, says this will again be escalated & the job will be done today. Do I trust him? No! Never expected this kind of incompetent, unprofessional & guileless service from TATA group. TATA has hit a new low.
