Tata Sky — Set Top Box complaint unattended since April 03, 2015

Subscriber ID : [protected]. My Set Top Box is emanating smoke since April 3rd, 2015. Complaint ID NS[protected] created on the same day. Could not talk to customer service since then for almost 20 days, tried around 30 times, but even after waiting for 30 mins per try, could not get connected. Received a complaint completed SMS on April 23rd, without any resolution. Came to know of the chat facility on the website and approached there, raised HU06GLU on April 25th. Was assured help in 24 hours. The complaint on April 27th, 1.01pm by Tatasky without resolution. Again reached out to chat session at 11.30 pm on April 28th and raised HVF0X0E. Guarantee for help was given again. At 1.10 pm on April 30th, this has been cancelled. For almost a month I am without their service. Yesterday, they shamelessly calls me up to renew my subscription for the next month. When I explained the case, they promised help in 24 hours, which has also passed and no help or call is seen. Would you be able to do something? Would really appreciate if some help is rendered. Else plans to spend some time and take this to consumer court.

i did not have any follow up or discussion on this issue for more than a week. I did not find any difference between tatasky and this website. no action or follow up, as advertised.
I had similar issue. Actually my STB got replaced twice for the smoke issue. Technician who came today to replace the box said that there is some known issue with the power supply board of the set top box and TataSky has discontinued that particular model and giving newer models to new customer. I asked if I can get newer model he said I need to contact the call center. When I contacted call center they said they do not have information about the known issue and technician is giving wrong information.
