The Hindu — Frequent missing of daily

Hi,

I have paid for a whole year subscription of 'the hindu' daily by paying the amount online. My subscriber id is [protected] (Hindu reference id : w20160223esub0049). The subscription started from march 10th on wards. Since then, i am not getting the 'the hindu' newspaper regularly. There is frequent missing of the newspaper. Every week, i do not get 1, 2 or 3 dailies. So far, there are more than 50 days i have not received the paper! I called up the agent, complained customer care via mail, but no use. Other people in our apartment receive it regularly. People who pay in advance do not get the paper regularly and if you pay via agent after each month of receiving the paper, you can count for the days you did receive the paper and pay him accordingly. Agent told me for all on-line payments, this issue is there which i was unaware. Customer care person assured me from now on wards; i will be getting it regularly and closed the ticket. But after 1 or 2 days, the same story continues. Even now, i have not received the paper for the last one week (Last paper received was on july 4th) and given a complaint. The current complaint reference number is 084779. I just want to know if they are going to compensate me for the missing days (Around 50 days) as i’ve already paid them in advance.

Please resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Hello,

As an update to my earlier complaint on missing 'The Hindu' daily, they had changed the vendor and informed me that I will be getting an extension of 2 months on the current subscription. Since then (July 2016), I was getting the daily regularly without any issue. But the earlier subscription ended on 28th Feb 2017 and there was no extension of 2 months. I contacted them again and it seems they are unaware of the promise given. My earlier subscription started 10 days after the due date (10th March 2016) and there were frequent misses. Still they ended the subscription without any type of compensation which they have promised in words.

Again customer care complaint has been taken with reference no. A007869, but no updates so far.

Please resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Continued getting the paper for a couple of days after I gave the complaint; but did not deliver again today (15th July).
