[Resolved] The Mobile Store — Undue, unreasonable charges asked for repairing mobile even when under extended warranty | |||
I have got the extended warranty on my Nokia Lumia 920. There was a minor issue of vibration not working. I submitted my mobile on 16th September 2014 under the Job Sheet order no. RP677915. After 14 days when contacted the store where it was given for servicing to know the status of the phone repair, they provided me with the service center number. I contacted them and they have replied that phone will be repaired only if I agree to pay the repair charges. Even after repeatedly informing them about the extended warranty they did not agree to repair the same without charge. Height of the case is that they have claimed the damage of the vibration is on account of liquid damage. I am very surprised to know about the fact as my mind still does not support that water can damage only vibration and nothing else in the mobile. When I have never dipped my mobile in water, this explanation exposes their true color. I doubt on their integrity. After searching online, there were number of similar complaints available on various sites. It is very hazardous to the consumer rights and their shopping integrity. Please look in this matter and resolve the issue at the earliest so that I can enjoy my life peacefully. Without mobile my life is not mobile. Thanks & Regards, Akash A. Balani. [protected].
