The Professional Couriers — Non delivery of consignment booked in RJP1371871

I furnish a deficiency of service and non delivery of article booked to me by Professional Couriers. My son Krupaharan sent Four dresses valued at 50 dollars for my granddaughter and Two multiple mobile charger cable worth 10 dollars through his friend Senthil kumaran. Thiru Senthil kumaran booked the parcel containing the above articles at the Professional Courier of Rajapalayam branch viz. his native town on 02.10.2015 in RJP1371871 to my address 76/2 Amma Mandapam Road, Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli, Tamilnadu 620006. But the parcel was not received by me and when tracking the parcel, the parcel was sent to Hassan of Karnataka. Immediately I lodged a complaint in the website of Professional Couriers and the number of complaint assigned as CRA103958. But there is no response to my complaint. Then I sent several letters and reminders to Head office of Professional Couriers and its branch at Bangalore by email. But each and every time they raised several clarifications and their queries promptly replied. But there is no progress. In the last, the Bangalore Branch office person Angeline promptly replied as ‘At the outset we are pleased to inform your good self that we unable to find the consignment nor the delivery detail for the said consignment we tried our level best to trace but all our efforts went in vain.We took time to replay since we thought we will able to trace the consignment, kindly accept our sincere appology for missing your goods.We regret for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard and sincerely request you to make alternate arrangement for the same.We are sending loss letter to our office related to this consignment you can intract with Rajapalayam office for further processing’. Though the mail received on 7.12.2015, there is no progress in reply from the Head office. For more than three months the parcel could not be found by the courier and I felt mental agony and displeasure with the deficiency of service of Professional Couriers. The Professional couriers should compensate the loss met out due to the non delivery of the parcel and the delay in service and the damages for the mental agony and deficiency in service.
