[Resolved] Tikona — Threatening / Blackmail / Fraudulentt behavior | |||
Hi, I am from Bangalore. Today 12th December, I received a call from [protected] stating that he is a lawyer calling from Delhi court. He told me that I have an outstanding bill amount of 3803 INR. I have already paid my bill and I sent a pressing mail to Tikona care to cancel my subscription too. But Tikona has been calculating my pending bill and a penalty of 100 rupees every month. The final bill amount was 2303 INR only.(Which was the amount after i requested for disconnecting) But the person claiming to be a lawyer told me to pay 3803 INR including the cancellation charges which was not mentioned earlier. The person promised that I would be refunded 3200INR out of the 3803INR i have already paid. Acknowledging the fact that they made a mistake. But nothing has happened yet. My Tikona user id is : [protected]. This is a totally unprofessional move done by Tikona to get the false amount paid. Tikona has not sent any warning mails about this too. Also, please see the mail attached in which i have requested for disconnection on September itself. This mail I sent after multiple tries I made to resolve from their customer care number. They all promised a disconnection but they never did. Is this the professional integrity Tikona has? Does the company take it for granted that they can threaten people and get away with that?
