TITAN EYE + — DELAYED DELIVERY OF SPECTACLES

I have placed an order for prescription glasses on 06.02.2015 at the Sion, Mumbai, branch of Titan Eye showroom. However, even after two weeks I have not received my glasses, putting me to great inconvenience. As they have already received my order and also payment, they did not see it necessary to inform me about the delay. After making enquiries, I have been curtly informed that the glasses broke while fixing onto the frame and that there would be a delay in delivery. The period of delay is either unknown to them or they do not see it necessary to inform their customers. I now feel that I would have been better off by visiting a local optician who would have given me my spectacles in 3 days and more importantly, made me feel good about the whole process. This is not expected from the house of TATA and I hope that their technicians and other staff (at Titan Eye stores) are better trained.
