Toyota — Unethical behaviour of toyota dealer.

In furtherance to may mail dated 13th may 16 duly acknowledge by [protected]@toyota-kirloskar.Co.In on may 22, 2016 4:11 pm [ref no: te1609641], wish to bring to your kind notice that till now the pre-launch booked vehicle has not been delivered.

Under pre-launch booking, i have booked a innova crysta on 08th april 2016 and made the necessary payment of rs. 1, 00, 000 as pre-launch booking amount in stead of the booking amount displayed on toyota india website as rs. 40, 000/- only vide hdfc bank cheque no. 000174 dated 08th april 2016 to your dealer m/s toplink toyota, ranchi, jharkhand. The likely date of delivery of vehicle was mentioned as may 2016.

Immediately after launch of vehicle in fist week of may 16, contacted the dealers representative ankit kumar / raja manish raj and this was conveyed that in gx 8 seat model black / pearl white colour is not available, so the option of grey colour was opted and it was confirmed that by may end the vehicle will be delivered. After repeated follow up with them, on 08th may received a call and message from dealers representative that my vehicle has arrived and was asked to make the necessary payment and confirm date of delivery. Over phone, it was confirmed that date of taking delivery of vehicle will be 14th may since i was traveling and were scheduled to be back to ranchi on 10th june. After return to ranchi on 10th, requested dealers representative to forward me quotation for necessary processing & approval of vehicle loan from sbi, ranchi and received a mail from dealers sales team (Copy attached). Since then, i was in consistent touch with both the dealers representative mr. Ankit & mr. Raja manish raj and forwarded them the d. O letter issued by sbi for delivery of vehicle today.

I was surprised, the moment this was conveyed by m/s toplink toyota, ranchi, jharkhand sales consultant mr ankit over phone that the vehicle has not been arrived at dealers location and is expected to reach by 17th may 2016. Such unprofessional and unethical approach and communication is adversely affecting the global reputation and brand value of toyota motors.

We never expect such unprofessional customer approach from m/s toyota dealership, i have very high opinion about toyota motors even the service and customer services we received during my stay at addis ababa, ethiopia where i was using toyota land cruiser.

Would request you to at least give some priority to the customers who have exhibited confidence in your toyota brand and made pre-launch booking irrespective of availability of various options with internationally & nationally established brands in india.

Request your kind intervention in this matter and immediate delivery of vehicle without any further delay.
