Toyota — Very bad service from toyota dealer | |||
I gave my corolla for servicing to sharayu toyota, pune on sat, 7th may morning. After reaching home i realized that i had left my cell charger inside the car. I immediately called up the clerk who attended to me and told him to take it out and keep it safe. I got delivery of my car 3 days later (On tue, 10th may). I found that the charger was missing and also the cover of the small compartment above the lighter was damaged. They had replaced several parts and charged me more than rs 16, 000 – over that, the kind of careless handling that i could see was not acceptable to me. The cleaning done was sloppy. Also, the rumbling noise that i had reported to the clerk is still there even after the servicing. I had given a written complaint to the lady at the reception immediately (On tuesday) – i was promised that someone senior would call me the next day. I didn’t get any call that day and when i called them, someone informed that the clerk was on leave and he would call me a day later. Today he called me – to tell me that the cover was already damaged when i gave the car for servicing! Also, about the missing charger his justification was that he had asked me if i had left any valuables inside and i had replied no. This is true. But i had called him within half an hour to tell him about the charger. If he had searched and didn't find it, why didn't he call me back and inform me? Giving me this lame justification after 3 days in totally unacceptable to me! I paid good money for servicing. I am not even questioning the necessity of changing so many parts – i understand that this is a regular revenue stream for you and unsuspecting customers like me have no choice but to go with the technician’s recommendation to change some parts. But having paid good money, i expect the toyota personnel to show respect to customers and not treat them with the callousness that i saw this time. I expect someone senior in your pro to get in touch with me. So far only low level clerks have spoken to me on this topic. If this is the way that you treat your customers, then i have nothing else to add! Was this information helpful? | |||
