I have purchased a Samsung LED TV from one of the dealers of Samsung called RA Electricals in Vadodara. The billing of the product is 19.09.2012. When we purchased the product, we were asked that a person from Samsung would be visiting our place and if we want then we could be provided with the service of Fitting the Wall Mounting stand for the TV. But it was also added at that point of time that an additional amount would be charged from us and that was of Wall Mounting Stand. No one (Neither RA Electricals nor Samsung Company Service Providers) intimated time period within which we had to take decision.

Now the situation is that RA Electricals, one of the very reputed names in Vadodara, are taking their hands off by saying that we have not said that its going to be a chargeable product. Moreover, they are also adding that they have intimated us for the time frame of 30 days within which we had to call to the toll free number of Samsung and ask for the wall mounting stand in order to get the same from the company. When I called to the customer care number of the Samsung, I had been informed that it is understood that I had to call within 30 days to the customer care number and when someone do not call within 30 days, the product which is supplementary to the product I have purchased gets chargeable.

Now the question here arises is that what is and what should be the role of the company as well as its authorized dealer? It is not all about the money. It is the question of ethics. Neither of them have ethics in mind. In our case, there are so many questions in my mind as a consumer:
- Can the company decide the time frame for the supply of supplementary products? (even if it is in the warranty time stipulated by them?)
- The company does not have any control over its dealers?
- The company can not track the supplementary products in line with the actual product?
- Should dealers not specify the terms and conditions? Or mere giving books related to the products are enough?
- Can a dealer/company say that if you would have ordered the same within 30 days after purchasing a product, then it would have been a free of charge product for you?
- Anyone has seen any of the advertisement suggesting that if you want a wall mounting stand free, then please call Samsung customer care within 30 days?
- The companies are now a days claiming that they are following many Corporate Social Responsibilities. Aren't they taking their hands off from their main responsibilities towards their customers by following such unpractical procedures?
- Can a dealer and/or the manufacturing company can take their hands off in the names of each other?
- Sales, which includes supplementary product sales, can not be traced out? A consumer to whom a TV sold, is not eligible to get a call for the free service and supply of wall mounting stand? and that too from both dealers as well as from service center?

This complaint is not all about me. It involves so many questions of consumers all over the world, specially in India. The quality of service is what matters rather than 1500 Rupees of wall mounting stand. If this will continue in the products and services of any company by the company or the dealer, then I am sure the concept of after sales services will be demolished, at least in India.

Samsung — tv provided is not good

Ihave purchased color TV from reliance digital nasik Make Samsung 29" on 42/march/2011
they delivered it on 25/march/2011. since that it is having display problem. its display comes in a multicolor and inverts the actual color which is really bad to see. i request them to refund my ammount or give me another tv. they are not responding

    dear sir,this is jagdeep gill from ludhiana.i have given my phone to serive centre[imperial refrigeration,B-37/309,nirmal nagar canal road ldh],at times for solving my phone problem,but they cant solve it.i request her to change my handset[galaxy tab 2 gt-3100tseinu] because it was under guranted but cant do it and does not solve my phone problem.please take action againt samsung service centre.thank u.

      Dear Sir/Mam,
      I was purchase Samsung Top Loading Washing machine From Dawar Open World on 10.11.2012 Model No[protected].That time Dawar commit me to received a gift(mobile phone) direct from Samsung on my address. When I call Samsung Customer care than Samsung confirm me received the Gift witin 20 day of Installation (Installation date 21.11.2012).
      Samsung Commitment was failed because I was not received the gift within the specified time than I call Samsung. Samsung suggested me to mail The CEO office with uploading the Bill. I did the same than I received the reply to receive my Gift with the 30 Day of Installation.
      Again Samsung Commitment was failed and I again Call Samsung Than Samsung told me the new date within 15 day of The mail.
      Again Samsung Commitment was failed and I again call Samsung than Samsung reply me this time Samsung that Samsung was registered my complain on high priority basis on 02.01.2013 and I was received the gift within 15 day of 02.01.2013.
      Again Samsung Commitment was failed ………….

      I was call samsung more than 15 times and I mail the Samsung CEO office about 4 times. Still I call in the morning on 24.01.2013 Samsung yet Samsung have no idea about the Gift.

        Terrible Samsung Service & Product
        My Samsung double door 410L refrigerator was bought in 23rd October, 2005. For the past one year there have been problems off and on regarding its cooling. Either it doesn't defrost or it doesn't cool. The Samsung service engineers would come and melt off the ice and say its fine. But it would stop cooling after some time. Finally after multiple visits from the Samsung engineers I filed complaint no.[protected] on January 16th 2013. After repeated calls to the service center, some rude engineer came and said that some thermometer has to be replaced since its not defrosting right. Again there was no communication and finally I was told that its thermocol cracked and it can not be repair, after Long story short their engineer suggest me to buy the new fridge, my fridge stopped working completely . Do we still live in the dark ages - When called, the Gurgaon service manager Sushil Sharma told me very rudely that nothing can be done. When will these companies wake up and take service more seriously. Why can't we sue these companies for false promises and for selling dud products to consumers?!

        I wonder how its got to be a $80bn company with terrible service like this!! I am never buying another Samsung product - we had a similar experience with a Samsung. I just dont want more consumers to throw their money down the drain like us...

        samsung refrigerators — Overload - tripping off every two mts

        Just a month back it was attended by your rep. Now due to overload tripping off immediately when switch on. Your pone 23496985 and 23496995 is not reachable either continuously engaged or no one responding.

        I have register my complaint to samsung customer care having complaint no [protected] on 4/7/12 but till date my complaint is not attended , and I am doing regular follow up with customer care but till date no one is reached to attend the problem .
        kindly arrange to attend the same .

          This is Suffer Customer from Samsung Mobile Care Center
          I purchased a Samsung Mobile From Sulekha.com.
          Actually my Mobile have Some Battery Problem and Hanging Problem.
          For that reason i brought this Mobile to Samsung Care (Ansh Communication A-3&4, Devi Palace, Old Delhi Road)
          I Don't Know what is the Problem in the Handset.But According to them there is Software issue.Till then this is OK for me.
          But after Repairing they will Behave like Uneducated People,Not even with me their Behavior is very bad With People surrounding me.
          I ask for the Job Sheet.They Don't Provide me that i Asked for Job no. they also Deny for that.
          They asked You can go, we are not going to give any Job number to you.
          There is Mr .Ajay who is asking Himself a Manager but don't have any Behavior Skills asked that "Go anywhere,ask anyone we are not going to give you any Proof or any Job No"
          I asked him that i will Complaint for you.On it he is Saying "Ask anyone in Samsung there is no one is Going to Listen to You"
          I asked them for Customer Care Number They asked"Manage it Yourself We are not here for giving Customer Care no"
          Then i will Take the no from Just Dial.After taking no I asked him to Talk to Executive of Samsung Mobile.He Deny it He asked"The One Who talk to me do call on my mobile i m not going to talk to any one for this issue.After that From Your Escalation Department Mr Sandeep Come in Line and ask Very Politely to Mr Ajay ask sorry for his Rude Behavior According to Mr Ajay that time I am not going to say you Sorry why i asked Sorry to You.According to Him We have just related to Repair your phone not with your Harassment.

                You assured me this time after repairing on 19 11 2012,that the set will work properly. It went wrong again in December 2012 after a few days. When contacted you kept my instrument ( with out giving me any paper or receipt what so ever ) with you for observation for one week and returned me with assurance of working uninterruptedly hence forth . But it went wrong again in January 15 ,2013 with same problem

                I am fade up with sumsung.products.Warranty period is going to expire soon .

                I WAS HAVING A VERY MINOR PROBLEM WITH MY E 760 MOBILE WHICH I PURCHASED FROM MALAYSIA AS IT USED TO HANGED ONCE OR TWICE A MONTH AND ONCE I OFF IT AND ON IT, IT STARTS WORKING PROPERLY. ONE DAY I WAS PASSING THROUGH VASUNDHRA, GHAZIABAD, I SAW A SAMSUNG SERVICE CENTRE SO I THOUGHT TO TAKE AN ADVICE FROM THE EXPERTS THERE.
                AS I SHOWED THEM MY MOBILE AND TOLD THE PROBLEM AND REQUEST THEM TO JUST TELL ME WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AS I HAD TO SAVE THE DATA FIRST. THE GENTLEMAN SITTING THERE TOLD ME THAT ITS A SOFTWARE PROBLEM AND HE CAN FIX IT AND ALSO CAN SAVE THE DATA FOR ME. SO I SAID OK FIRST SAVE ALL THE PHONE CONTACT DATA AND THEN GET THE PROBLEM SOLVED. HE THEN WHAT DID I DON'T KNOW BUT THE DATA IMMEDIATELY VANISHED AND HE SAID THAT SUBMIT THE SET AND TAKE IT TOMORROW . WHEN I REACHED THERE NEXT DAY HE SAID THE SET IS OK AND CHARGED 281 RS. FROM ME IT WAS 6PM AND THE SERVICE CENTRE WAS ABOUT TO CLOSED.
                WHEN I CAME HOME WHICH IS JUST A MINUTES AWAY FROM THERE THE PHONESTARTED BLINKING FOR WHICH I IMMMEDIATELY TOLD HIM ONHIS CELL NO AND HE SAID THAT AS NEXT DAY THE HOLIDAY AND HE IS NOT COMING SO COME AFTER ONE DAY. AGAIN I VISITED THE CENTRE AND AGAIN SUBMITTED THE SET AND SINCE THEN I REPEATEDLY REQUESTING HIM THE STATUS FOR 5 DAYS ON DAILY BASIS BUT ONE 6TH DAY HE CALLED ME AND TOLD ME THAT NOW THIS PHONE WILL NEVER WORK AND IT IS DEAD AND IF REPAIRED WILL COST ME MORE THAN THE COST OF THE PHONE...

                SIR KEEPING IN MIND THE FAULT AT THE END OF THAT GENTLEMAN I REQUEST TO TAKE STRICT ACTION AGAINST HIM AND GET THE PHONE REPAIRED FOR ME OR ELSE PROVIDE ME THE ANOTHER CELL PHONE AS FOR WHICH I HAD ALREADY SUFFERED A GREAT OF LOSING ALL THE CONTACT DATA AND PLEASE LET ME KNOW THE PROGRESS IN THIS REGARD..

                    Samsung e Store is cheating customers by giving wrong specification of the products on your website they are not specific what they are selling and write.. I am victim of such cellulous attitude of them. They are not willing to accept that fact and they are refusing to take back the product. I have lost money because of that. I sincerly requesting customer not to buy anything from Samsung estore.
                    Its is extreemly Frustrating that estore restricts the purchase limit based on pincode...
                    I'm not able to make payment exceediing 25000/-
                    when i've enquired this with customer care, they are making excuses by asking me to specify an alternative delivery address..???
                    what does this mean? does estore expects the user to make delivery of costlier items to someone else's address, or change customers residence just for the sake of estore purchaase???

                    I booked a Samsung Tab 3 T311 on 27th July Order no: 1165930, but the product has not been shipped yet, when I rang the customer service they say that the product is out of stock. When I asked them to cancel the order they say that it will be cancelled within 24-48 hours, but they do not cancel the order I am struck with these hopeless group of people. What a shame that Samsung does not have stock of its own products launched recently. If the product is out of stock, why doesn't the website show that the product isn't in stock.

I have been calling Customer care from Past 4 days and every time in am being told only one statement that issue is being escalated to higher management and you will receive a call by the End of the Day. But I Usually don’t receive any call

                        I will like to bring to your kind notice that I have bought one LCD Model No LA32A550P1RMXL on 1/9/2008 for INR 44000.And now after 4.2 years images on TV screen are Distorted . I have raised a Ticket No [protected] For rectification. A service engineer visited My home and told me that I need to change the LCD panel and it will cost around INR 16000 and today after repetitive calls on Customer care i have received a call from Service Center that panel will be available after 7th Feb. 2013

                        Now My question is Firstly An average lifespan of an ordinary LCD screen may be 40,000 hours. But in my case it If I use My TV 24*7 for 4 yrs then also I will hardly touch this count. That means there is some Technical Glitch in This product .Secondly Who can wait for one Month For TV repair...

                        I will like you to Know that presently I am using 8 Samsung products .But today I have a feeling that very soon all my products will be of same quality and will need so much expensive Repairs. I was very happy with Samsung Products. But after This Incidence I m still asking myself why I have bought So many Samsung Products????.It's really tough for me to Justify this LCD Panel replacement.???

                        Though it is a technical Glitch in Samsung Product why shall customer Pay for this ????

                        i just bought a Samsung LCD a month and half ago, and i realised lcd panel which is screen is already broken, it has a vertical line on it, i bought this TV since i thought samsung is relaible company and lastslong, but it gave me a worst experience. so please think before you a samsung products they are not upto the mark. afterall i spend almost 50k it is useless i just realised i should have bought a cheaper brand use it for few years/months that would be better.

                        I have had the worst experience with Samsung, two years ago we purchased a TV 46" 1080P LCD, before he two years was up we had a problem with the screen it started to go black in the corner then started to grow. I called Samsung, they said they would not repair but gave us a ticket and a contact to repair. I was told that it could be repaired but it would cost $899.00 and it would most likelyhappen again. So we were forced to purchase a new TV. I definately bought the extended warranty. So my friend wanted the damaged TV. He ended up calling Samsung and got them to repair the screen for free. All he had to pay for was the shipping of part. I cannot believe that this happened. I called and emailed and went on line to find out why they would not do this for me. I was told that they would address the matter. I told the I wanted them to charge him for the part like they were going to with me or pay me for my new tv. Nothing was done. I am so upset and disgusted. The ticket number was #[protected]. Than you.

                            I am Jayant Verma from Gurgaon, Delhi.

                            I had recently purchased 40 inches LED TV from Singapore and within few months the display panel shows a band on top which disappears after 15-20 mins but picture is hazy / unclear.

                            Samsung engineer visited and have insisted that support under warranty cannot be provided and have to replace the panel at substantial cost (Rs. 23000) which shall carry only 1 month warranty.

                            Samsung does not take responsibility / liability for poor product design.

                            Same here!!! I got my screen replaced by paying money but within a year the problem has appeared again. Samsung is making money by deliberately making poor quality screen/by not sorting this problem out.

                              Still i want thankful to samsung people.
                              My camera was having shutter problem since date of purchage.
                              First time send to samsung centre,returned unrepared.
                              Second time,a reply returned,after registering a complain.
                              Reply is realy funny,but heart breaking.Estimate of repair {approx 4000Rs} is near to coast of camera.
                              But "Thanx for the lesson", Always purchage product of a renowned company of that field,having genuine & good after sail service.

                                I am very disappointed with your brand i purchase a mobile from your Magnet Irla Shop on 7 Jan 13 Samsung s 6802 within in 7 days i bought 1 more same Mobile from same shop my 1st Mobile there was a problem of Vibration & automatic switch off happening when i purchase the other phone i toll the salesman that i am facing the problem he said bring the mobile with box we will replace it after next day when i gone to the store the other person attn me Mr Deepak he told to me we cant replace bcoze you came on 8th date of purchase sir this is expensive mobile i buy in a life & i faced problem in very short time i need the replacement of this do the needfull

                                  We bought a Samsung RF263AEPN a little over a year ago. Yesterday, a constant loud vibrating buzzing sound started. When you open the doors of the fridge, the sound stops but when you close the doors, it starts up again. I think it is coming from the Fan. Of course, the warranty ran out a few months ago. The sounds is constant and is driving us crazy. Already the ice maker had to be replaced right before the warranty ran out. This was the first Samsung Fridge we have owned. My mother has one and loves her but I think we ended up with a lemon. Any suggestions?

                                    This below mentioned mail i have send to CEO office but no response from that office and i am still waiting for call & for refund it's already 2.5 months over but nobody responding me in a proper & exact details but you will get to know as per my below mail & hopefully you will understand my problem. Nobody has such time to spend whole day to talk Samsung people/ customer care but earlier that Samsung engineer has committed to me for refund & he has taken fill form from my side but this happened 2.5 months before and that's why I am submitting my complain to you.



                                    "As discussed over the phone, I had bought a Samsung Plasma TV (refer the attached bill for further details) on[protected] from Ambience Mall- Open World(Dawar International Electronics Pvt. Ltd., however from the past 2 months thin dark lines started to appear on the screen, I contacted your service centre, and the concerned engineer informed us that the the panel would have to be changed, however, later called and informed me that the said panel is presently not available and will take time to come, hence, I would get a refund of the amount spend by me on the said TV. He further confirmed that he has completed full formalities of the refund and the cheque will be arriving at my address. Please note, it has been 2 months since I was given this assurance, and I continue to wait for the cheque. Based on the assurance provided by your service engineer, I purchased another TV set, only to be very recently informed that the said Panel is now available after months delay, and I would not be receiving any refund, but replacement of the said Panel. since then I have received numerous call from different service engineers with various misleading commitments.

                                    There were many representatives who called me for this matter and assured for refund but unfortunately no one has fulfilled the commitment yet. Given, Samsung is one of the top brands in the world, I would expect it to honour its original commitment of a refund.

                                    As mentioned above, I have already bought a new TV on the basis of your commitments and would not require another one as of now. Accordingly, I request you to please make refund of the TV which cost us INR 41,000 without any further delay, else I would be constrained to take legal action against you in the appropriate forum at your sole cost and expense. This e-mail is without prejudice to my rights.

                                    Looking forward for a speedy process and fulfilled commitment!"

                                    SAMSUNG PLASMA TV — poor showroom feedback from croma

                                    The showroom response to my complaint is very bad.Don't expect this kind of service from tata - company maintained showroom
                                    Croma retail center and lenovo together made me fool by saying no smell is coming out of my laptop. Great to see the association between both the parties. My laptop is still giving plastic burning smell but croma guys are not ready to accept it. Croma is nothing more than a fool making machine. We thought of buy some more item but now we will not do this mistake again by entering any croma out let. please never allow your near and dears to buy any item from croma. My experience with croma is disgusting

                                      I had been to Dubai on 5th Nov 2011 and purchased the above tv model in the said invoice at E-City general trading LLC in Mall of Emirates under International Warranty. After return to india I registered the purchase in samung (Reg no.[protected]) by furnishing the copy of the bill etc.
                                      On 2nd Nov’2012 night suddenly there was a problem in TV ie; 4 inches black lines on top of the panel screen and hence full picture could not be seen. On the day next I registered the compliant(no.[protected]).Your technician from M/s. Sunbean electronics,Chennai-118 inspected on 8th of nov 2012 and informed that it is beyond repair and panel screen to be replaced immediately. He verified the international warranty and bill and accepted to replace the same early. The international warranty paper and copy of the invoice had already been given to them for action. But even after repeated reminders it is not replaced till today. It is very mental agony and pain to me, of being a international company delaying for such a long period.
                                      Since the problem occurred within the warranty period ie; before 5.11.12, I request you to take necessary action to replace the required parts at free of cost, for which I will be grateful to you forever.

                                      I did face similar issue for LCD screen replacement. They just dont care for customers. Things were put in order after writing a mail to some CEO's office on their site(no email id its online complaint). You may try it..

                                        I have purchase the samsung galaxy duos gt-s7562 on 8-2-2012... After 10 to 15 day it started gettin heated on charging and battery gets low in 15 min after charging so i gave it to the local service center of samsung on 3-1-2013 so after 5 day they call me n sayed tha they are replacing the mother board and gave me on 8-1-2013 after that it started getting problem on its micke n speakers n the sim get on emergency calls in 5 to ten min and dosent work properly... The service center are not abel to solve my problem so plzz help me to solve my problem...

                                        I m Priyesh Ramesh Butani from Indore (M.P.). I have given my Samsung cell phone model no. c-170 to the service centre at anoop nagar indore on 14-Aug.-2008. On that time they told me that they will give me that cell phone after 3-4 days. But till 04-Sep.-2008 they can not give my cell phone and every time they are telling me that it will take 2-3 days. and I asked also to the regional manager of the M.P. he is also not giving me proper reply. That's why I want your support... Waiting for reply..

                                        I went many time to the nearer samsung service centre (Sim Solutions , Sumsang service centre , D-12/195 / 1st Floor / Sec -8 , Rohini, Delhi - 110085)....But they are not giving me the proper solution...Every time they say that a part of your mobile is faulty...and not available here at this time...they said "we will call you if the part will available....but after many phone calls, many times visits by me of the service centre....till now the part is not available...
                                        I'm a network engineer so i have to do many important phones call...but i am not able to do so...

                                        Hence I request you to take legal action against Samsung or corresponding service centre...
