[Resolved]  Unitech — Builder refusing to pay penalty for delayed possession

I had booked a flat with unitech cascades, greater noida. The company delayed giving possession and even after giving the same gave the physical possession after 2 years. The company is refusing to pay the penalty with all senior officials confirming that the company has no intentions to pay the amount. I have written at least 50 emails and made calls to all concerned individuals. They have confirmed that the company has no money to pay also. I am badly stuck as i cant sell the flat also. The registeration of the flat is not possible on account o[censored]nitech's dispute with the authorities. Every call into Unitech office turns into bigger frustration as the top officials are not responsive and are arm twisting consumers to buy parking facilities from them in exchange of flat besides giving indications that registeration is possible through under the table compromise. The company owes me approx 4 plus interest thereon besides facing further harrassment at the hands of irresponsible officials
