United India Insurance — Delay in renewal of Cancomfort health insurance No.70300/[protected]/00960/11 | |
I have been availing health insurance vide Cancomfort policy for more than 20 years very promptly every October. I had submitted my renewal form in 2014, but on inquiring with United India I was informed that my card validity had expired and hence the insurance was not renewed. I got the card renewed and submitted the renewal form along with the renewed card details ( in person on May 15th 2015. I was informed policy would be renewed effective 1st June. My husband and I have been following up with en. The policy has still not been renewed. I was informed yesterday by Ms. Geetha that my card has been activated recently due to some issues with the bank's software and that she was seeking my authorization to renew it with effect from 1st August.
t I cannot be penalized for malfunctioning of the the bank's systems / bank's software. I am presently without health insurance coverage. I am having CANCOMFORT HEALTH INSU POLICY SINCE 1996 continuously.Renewal of policy has become very disorderly we don't get renewal forms promptly and there is no online FACILITY.
