United Insurance Co. Ltd. — Not settling claim as they have not understood the Case history (Health Insurance)

My father was admitted to the hospital for DIABETIC MACULAR OEDEMA, treated with Lucentis Injection & Retinal Lasers. He also had to undergo many investigations prior to the treatment.
On sending papers for his claim the insurance company United India Insurance Co. Ltd. has replied saying they have “Closed the file” as they do not reimburse for Age Related Macular Degeneration and OPD procedures!!!
We have resent a letter for the claim with a letter from his doctor reiterating his case history.
Please help us to make them understand the case and reimburse the dues.
It is very sad that my 82 year old father has to fight for his claim at this age. His policy is over 15 years old (Policy No 240100/48/13/97/00000404 dated Dec 1998 Insured Ratan B. Herwadkar)
