This is to bring to your kind towards the malpractices adopted by SCDL to fleece students by overcharging them. I took admission in of the courses based on the banner on their website which informed all that registrations and admissions till Aug-01, 2013 shall be given discount of Rs. 3000, if fee paid in full.
I filled all the details online, paid for prospectus an amount of Rs. 1215 and then Rs. 1012.5 towards registration. Further to it, I was asked to print the form and send it to Pune for verification, without which I would not be able to pay full course fee. System refused to activate further links. After paying an amount of Rs. 2227, I realised that I have been cheated.Still I did so as instructed. When I received notification for fee payment, I was shocked to see that I have been asked to pay fee in installments. I was overcharged Rs. 3000 even though I wanted to pay complete course fee.
When I complained for this, multiple mails were exchanged but no resolution has been given till time.
The university has fleeced lot of other students too and made huge sum by using this malpractice. I request concern authorities to check these tactics used by university to misguide and overcharge their students. Was this information helpful? |
