[Resolved]  Vasai - Virar Rto — DL No. MH01 [protected]

Sir, I was issued the subject license on 21 Dec 1994 from Tardeo office. The expiry date was 13 May 2014. I applied for the renewal on 05 May 2014 at Vasai (RTO MH48) along with the NOC issued by RTO office Tardeo (MH01). The renewal fee receipt no. 0427316 dated 05 May 2014. In the month of August 2014 I received the renewed driving license with the following details:- DL NO. MH01 [protected] DOI[protected] DLR[protected] Valid till[protected] DOB[protected] As per the RTO rules the first license is issued for 20 years or till the age of 50 whichever is earlier. Subsequently it is renewed for a period of 5 years. If my license was renewed on 09 Jul 2014 the validity should be till 13 May 2019 (for 5 years). However it was issued only for 7 months which does not fall under any of the above category. I returned the license to my agent to check with the RTO office on the dates but they refused to accept the changes. Please advise.
