[Resolved]  Vodafone — Huge Vodafone Bill of Rs. 60,000/- against Credit Limit of Rs. 21,200/-

Dear Sir / Madam, This is in reference to the Excess Bill Amount INR 60, 000 + being charged to my mobile no. [protected]. CLARIFY on the following :- 1. Why the number was not blocked / services were barred the moment it had reached its set credit limit, when similar actions were duly taken in past, kindly refer to the past records for your easy reference. 2. Credit Limit are there for a reason to stop the customer from overusing his / her account . When the credit limit set on subject mentioned number is only INR 21, 200/- how can you charge customer to pay bill amount exceeding the given credit limit, further there was NO Intimations received from Vodafone regarding exceeding the limit. Several emails to respective authorities (On 4/6/2014 12:16 AM; vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com; nodal.[protected]@vodafone.com; appellate.[protected]@vodafone.com) have been sent in this regard, but till date no action has been taken by Vodafone. Kindly look into the matter ASAP and reverse the above charges. Regards, Ritu

DEAR VODAFONE TEAM,

KINDLY RE READ THE ISSUE / COMPLIANT RELATED TO THE SUBJECT MENTIONED NUMBER AND THEN REPLY

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF SETTING A CREDIT LIMIT ?

IN PAST YEAR 2004 / 2010 / 2012, KINDLY CHECK YOUR RECORDS, THE NUMBER WAS TEMPORALY BLOCKED / SERVICES WERE BARRED AS AND WHEN IT HAD TOUCHED ITS RESPECTIVE CREDIT LIMIT THEN. WHY THE NUMBER WAS NOT BLOCKED THIS TIME AS AND WHEN IT HAS TOUCHED ITS PRESENT SET CREDIT LIMIT OF INR 21, 200/-.

THERE WERE NO EMAILS / CALLS / MESSAGES RECEIVED FROM VODAFONE THE MOMENT ITS USAGE HAD TOUCHED ITS SET CREDIT LIMIT OF INR 21, 200/-. THE SMS / EMAILS FROM VODAFONE WERE SENT ONLY AFTER THE USAGE HAS CROSSED INR 60K +

AGAIN REPEATING MY QUESTIONS WHY THE NUMBER WAS NOT BLOCKED / SERVICES WERE BARRED AS AND WHEN IT HAD REACHED ITS SET CREDIT LIMIT OF INR 21, 200/-

WHY NO CALL / SMS / EMAIL WAS SENT FROM VODAFONE THE MOMENT IT HAS CROSSED ITS SET CREDIT LIMIT OF INR 21, 200/- ??????

WHY VODAFONE WAITIED TILL THE USAGE AMOUNT EXCEEDED INR 60, 000/- ?????????

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF SETTIGN A CREDIT LIMIT ???????????

TILL DATE DATE THERE HAS BEEN NO RESOLUTION GIVEN FROM YOUR SIDE FOR THE COMPLIANT I'VE LAUNCHED WRT THE BILL BEING GENERATED BEYOND ITS SET CREDIT LIMIT.

NOBODY HAS CALLED ME REGARDING THE SETTLEMENT OF THIS ISSUE AND NOW THE BILL IS PENDING FOR PAYMENT.

APPRECIATE IF YOU KINDLY GET THE NEEDFUL DONE AT THE EARLIEST AND SEND ME THE REVISED BILL ( WITHIN ITS SET CREDIT LIMIT) ENABLING TO PROCEED FURTHER FOR THE PAYMENT WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELYAS/

THERE HAS BEEN NO SOLUTION PROVIDED BY VODAFONE IRRESPECTIVE OF SENDING REPETATIVE EMAILS TO THEIR CONCERNED DEPARTMENT AND TILL DATE MY COMPLAINT IS STILL PENDING AND I'M RECEIVING CALLS AND EMAILS TO PAY THE WRONG BILL WHICH IS WAY BEYOND THE SET CREDIT LIMIT OF THIS NUMBER I.E INR 70, 011/-

CAN ANYONE SUGGEST WHOM SHOUDL I FURTHER COMPLAINT ABOUT THIS, HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN TO THEIR SO CALLED RESPECTIVE DEPARTMENTS BUT NO BODY IS RESPONDING AND THE ISSUE IS BEING PENDING TILL DATE
