[Resolved] Vodafone India — False charges | |||
I purchased a postpaid plan having offer- 3GB free data and 500 local and STD minutes free for three months. However, I just used the sim card for 3-4 days where I had hardly used some around 150MB data and 100 and thereafter it is witched off. They took 300Rs. as a deposit money from me. I received a message from them that you have a Bill of Rs. 1061 outstanding as your credit limit is expired. I told them multiple times that I have not completely utilized the offer scheme so how can you charge an extra money for the same. I asked for the print of all my utilized service details, they added many international messages going to my dad's no. which is a mumbai number and few other false charges. I did not pay this false charge so they called me multiple times for it, they send few people even at my place to ask for the money. Now, they have sent one letter from their advocate asking for that money plus 18% interest and said they can take further steps to recover it. This is how they cheat postpaid customers. Even I had heard of a case like this where that consumer went to the court for these type of false charges by Vodafone. The vodafone sim no. is [protected]. I want them to first of all return my deposited money. Since I have not utilized the scheme offer even, so stop harassing me with the calls for money. I have such a bad experience of buying their scheme that I will never in future buy or recommend anybody for vodafone. Was this information helpful? | |||
