[Resolved] Vodafone India — Huge Bill - Post Paid Connection | |||
I am writing this deeply unsatisfied and hurt with the Vodafone service specially concerning the incompetence of your customer care executive and sending huge bill for services which were never asked . I got a sms that you have used 200 mb data. On 16th February 2015, I visited to Vodafone care office Sector 50, Noida. Service Executive verified that required details on systems and confirmed me that there is no Internet service or plan is activated hence Internet can’t be access on your mobile number. On March 1, 2015, I got sms wherein they informed me that my credit limit Rs. 5000/- and credit limit utilization is approx Rs. 5300/-.I immediately visited to same center, this time the customer care representative told me that this is because of Internet usage, I told her that there is no Internet service is enabled on my cell phone, she told me that this is per activated service. Now I would like to highlight that 1. As per my welcome letter sent by Vodafone, my credit limit was fixed as Rs. 800/- which is more than sufficient so I never sent any request for increasing my credit limit still they have increased the limit from Rs. 800/- to Rs. 4000/-. They did not informed me and don't send any confirmation letter to me. 2. In welcome letter it is very clearly showing that Internet service(DATA) is not enabled on my mobile phone. But they sent me bill of Internet charges of approx 4600/- . I did not want Internet connection on this number so never asked for it even I am using this number from July 2013.If by default Internet services were activated, it should be mentioned in welcome letter so I could sent mail/letter to Vodafone for disabling this service. Since Internet services were not enabled hence welcome letter doesn't contains any information regarding Internet charges. 3. I got a sms that you have used 200 mb data. Please clarify why it was not informed to me that Internet service is enabled on my mobile number. 4. As per Vodafone standard plan, they charge approx Rs. 270/- for 1 GB data and in case Vodafone wanted to pay Aprx 4600/- for Internet charges which is approx 17-18 times. How any service provider can ask for such huge amount. Now Vodafone executive is offering me to waive- off 25% of total bill which is not acceptable by me. I had explained that entire matter in detailed to many call center executives but everything is in vain. This is impacting my health. Furthermore, I have decided not pay the amount that will be charged on my Internet usage unless I get a bill with charges applicable except Internet charges. I got a call from Nadeem - vodafone team. I again explained the entire problem to him and he ensured me that he will take it forward and resolved this matter at the earliest.
