[Resolved] Vodafone India — loss of service | |||
Date – 13.05.2015 To who it may concern, I have given application for MNP post paid from Airtel to vodafone on the 2nd of May 2015. On 9/5/15 visited your vodafone store at sector 11, Gandhinagr for a follow up due to a text message I received. Your executive gave information that your MNP will successful today midnight which is done as per information. But at same time he didn’t give new sim card of Vodafone, he should e aware that if the MNP is going to be successful at midnight and the next day was a Sunday he should have given me a new sim Being a customer we are not aware of all activities and process of companies, the executive should have advised me. On Sunday 10th of April I was out of town due to work requirements, and was not aware my service with Airtel has stopped and switched to Vodafone, the whole day I was helpless and without communication. At times also had to stop at STD shops to make calls and at times had to borrow mobile phone from strangers on road to make important calls. It was really stressful and embarrassing asking for people to help me make a call. Due to this I have suffered a lot in my business. Who is responsible for this loss? I want recovery of all my loss due to the executive’s carelessness service. If I get this kind first impression what should I expect more from Vodafone? I have ported my number from Airtel; have taken on board Rs.899 monthly rental plan. Before even my plan has started I have faced bad customer service, it has not been a good start but I expect someone will get back to me and bring some conclusion. I got calls 5 to 7 times from Vodafone each time from diff people.
All promised to call me back but one did.
After the conversation I got SMS, each time the number they called were different and I have not received any emails.
Once I also got a call saying that now that your complaint is closed is there anything else we can help you with, I mentioned how can it be closed when there ha not been any resolutions.
This is shocking and really disappointing.
I would really appreciate if an immediate action is taken and bring a resolution

All three did not sound promising I guess they were just ringing in as a formality.
One of the executive assured that he will be ring me back to today before 3pm and resolve my query but I guess vodafone is not interested in my concern.
No one has got back to me.
