Vodafone India — Regarding verification of address ([protected]) | |||
Dear Sir/Ma'am, I converted my AIRTEL no. [protected] to Vodafone five days back, on 17.09.2014 i got a sms regarding negative verification, i called customer care they said that your address is not located by agent. First of all, I was using a postpaid connection of airtel on this number on same address & that's for last 2 year's and before 2 year i was using this number in vodafone for 3 more years, So i was using this number for more than 5-6 years as a postpaid number. This number is very important for me, I can not afford an Hour of disconnection on this number. And i submitted my passport copy as an address proof, So how can it is not possible to locate the address if a passport has been issued to that address. and this is a well known place in Ghaziabad (NCR) and i have a landline no. ([protected]) and many other government address proof for the address (like Bank passbook, Voter ID, Bills etc) for the given address. I think that verification agents and vodafone fooling me, because no one came at my home for verification. Please look into matter. now my outgoing barred and It is very difficult for me to contact any one as this is my very old number. I need a proper answer for this that why do not vodafone get my address verified first then port my number. Who will pay for this I have to make many important call today.
