Volkswagen India — Unfulfilled commitment | |
My name is Purathur Thomas Francis, i am an NRI from Muscat. Beginning of this month i purchased VW-polo from Phoenix car-trichur., for my son who is studying in b'glore. Reg. No. KL 08- BJ 4807. Before finalising the deal, my only request with the Sales Manager was to arrange a driver to deliver it in b'glore, for which initially he hesitated and then he agreed. When i specifically asked him how much will be the extra cost, he said he will manage and send one of his driver in showroom for free. But things turned bad, when it came to the time of delivery, we were informed that we need to pay 4000 rs with return ticket and hotel accomodation to the driver. this if he had mentioned earlier i would have either agreed or arranged myself some other person. Inspite of my several calls from muscat to him, his response was poor, and he was avoiding us. This is not the service i expected from a senior person like him. The car is really good, and we came to this showroom to have a long relationship with VW. But with this kind of dealing, you leave bitterness in the hearts of the customer. i am writing this only to put it in record what has happened to me and also to ensure that this kind of incident, atleast doesn't happen to others.
