[Resolved]  Vrl Logistics — fright charges charged very high

Our vendor m/s Malathi ‎ Polymers had booked a consignment on 21/05/2014 L.R. NO.[protected] The parcel was delivered and the deal was closed now again same quantity and volume has been booked at same office at hyderabad and consignment has reached baramati at our place but there is vast difference in the charges applied by your office and the actual weight which has to be max 600 kg is noted as 3500 kg which increases the charges ‎of the parcel the details are as follows LR.NO.[protected] date. 02/09/2014 .Baramati agro chem. All the procedures were followed and our vendor contacted the booking office and submitted the proofs of previous consignment charges, and asked to charge them as per previous charges. Now from VRL ‎ their is no proper reply and they say that charges have been hiked. No problem but the amount paid previously was 8100 Rs and now it is 13850Rs Very shocking can charges be hiked so much? Now there is no proper reply and the VRL office is charging damerage charges ‎for not lifting the material and also not solving the problem. When contacted to customer care no of VRL they routed call to hyderabad office where their representative instead of ‎ solving the issue and understanding the matter was busy in convincing us how he was correct and ultimately we have to pay the fright charges of the material. An extra amount of Rs5750/- had to be paid along with holding charges to us and vrl is not bothered about their mistake and we had to face loss. Henceforth vrl will be blacklisted and no consignment will be booke by us due to such poor approach to customer and silly mistakes of their employees.
