Wassup Laundry — Delay in Refund for damage and at a reduced price

We had given 3 sarees for dryclean on 22/05/2015 at the Gandhi nagar branch of wassup against bill no. 27611 in the name of T.M.Venkataraman, of which only 2 sarees were returned. on enquiry they agreed that one of the saree has been damaged during dryclean. On being followed up they agreed to make good the loss either by replacement of the saree or by cash, if bill is produced for the new saree, as we wanted to buy the same color saree for sentimental reasons the value of which was Rs.4778/-. We had spoken to Ms.Sushma in the first place who had subsequently quit the job and MR.Manikandan who took the case later said that he will not be able to refund the full amount as per company policy. As we had already purchased the new saree based on the word given by Ms.Sushma, and submitted the bills and shown the new saree to the Gandhi Nagar branch, it was insisted that the company refund the full amount. The complaint was subsequently handled by Mr.Azagiri since 03 August, 2015, who also did not agree for full refund and said that a cheque can be given only for Rs.1500/-. I request the company to give me a full compensation for all the loss inclusive of the delay and travel/telephone expenses that we have incurred for providing the customers with wrong information and dragging the issue for such a long time.
