[Resolved] Whirlpool India — Forced to throw the AC since spare parts not avialble for AC which was bought in 2010. | |||
We Got Whirlpool Magic Chrome 6th sense model on April 2010. The model has been stopped from production since last few years. The AC stopped working with E4 error. Raised a compliant with the Whirlpool Customer care req no- cn[protected] for the same. The AC mechanic attended the machine and intimated us that the indoor unit motor (YYW series) is currently not available in the market and asked us to reach the customer care with the original AC purchase bill so that they with come up with a option to replace the machine. On reaching there we were informed the AC will be taken for meager 5K or less and will be given a option to choose from the model they offer us. In place replacing a motor which is worth 2 to 4K we were forced to replace the whole unit which will cost us somewhere not less than 30K. Was this information helpful? | |||
