Whirlpool India — Installation costs

I recently bought a Whirlpool AC from Khosla Electronics in Kolkata. I was told that the installation was free. But when the installation guys arrived they asked me for a 'coupon' for the free installation which of course the store did not give me. They then told me that the installation was free but the parts were not. This was going to cost Rs.1600. After calling the store the salesman told me that Whirlpool makes these rules and it was not their problem. Never again will I buy a Whirlpool appliance or from Khosla Electronics. I recently bought another AC from another manufacturer where free meant free. Very disappointing.
