[Resolved] Whirlpool India — Product not being repaired | |||
Dear Sir, I had purchased a refrigerator "WHIRLPOOL 230 IMFRESH ROY 5S SAPPHIRE EXOTICA REF" on 24.10.15. However, for the last couple of months, the product is getting unusable. I have raised numerous complaints and called your service centre almost everyday. But all my efforts went in vain. The door of the fridge is not closing properly and the door gasket is also not fitting (it is mentioned by the service man in the receipt). Water accumulation on the inner surface of the body and door proves that external air is circulating inside the fridge. When the water dripping starts from the refrigerator, the room gets watery and full of bad smell and creates an unhygienic environment inside the room. It is also known to you that the aforesaid fact is damaging the compressor also. On questioned regarding door not closing properly, the service man said that the fridge needs to be leaned back ward (not vertical) so that the door is not open at its own. It is really frustrating for me to call service centre everyday knowing that the product is defective. It is my earnest request to your organisation of repute that please replace the defective product at your earliest as it is within the warranty period.
