[Resolved]  Xolo — Issues with Service of XOLO Play 8X-1100

Hi, I purchased my XOLO Play 8X-1100 on 8 Nov 2014 and in April 2015 I found its MIC not working completely. The person at the other end of the call was not able to listen anything. I have submitted my mobile to the official service center We Care Mobiles at Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 16 April 2015. IMEI No.: [protected] Work Order Number:[protected] After waiting for a long time, I received a call on 27th April 5:30 PM from XOLO customer care that the repair is taking longer than usual and they are ready to replace my mobile with latest version i.e. Omega 5.5. However when compared with my current model (i.e. Play 8X-1100) I found that all the features were lower. e.g. 8X-1100 has 2 GB RAM, while this one has 1 GB RAM similarly 1.7 GHz Vs. 1.4 GHz processor, 16 GB internal storage Vs 8 GB internal storage, 5 MP Vs 2 MP front camera. The person who called also informed me that even if they repair my phone, there might be some other issues with it which may lead to issues in future and I would be out of warranty by that time. And he was trying to convince me to accept the offer to accept the downgraded version. Please note this is absolutely unacceptable and I am happy to get my original phone repaired and returned to me. A happy and proud customer was let down by the statement that you may face other issues with the phone in future. Even the phone is not repairable, you should offer same or higher model and not the downgraded model which is almost half of the price of what I have paid for. Also I am promised to get the repaired mobile in 15 days. Please help! Thanks, Keyur

Same is the case here and these people are offering me 8x 1000 instead of 8x 1100. and I m not intrested in this and i dont know what to do. in case of any suggestions [protected]@gmail.com is my mail.

Glad to see your response within 24 hours and with this, I am sure I'll get my faith back with the XOLO mobile and will remain a proud owner of XOLO Play 8X-1100.

However your response does not answer below queries.

1. Why my phone is not repaired even after 12 days?

2. When will I get it back?

3. Why the person from XOLO offered me a lower quality, lower configured phone as a replacement of my XOLO Play 8X-1100? Which is having almost half configurations in all the parameters including the price.

4. He also scared me that your current phone might have other problems and you may face them in future, it is better to get a new phone which he was offering. Why are you not confident with your own product or the service/repairing you will do with it?

5. How would you make sure that a happy and proud customer of XOLO Play 8X-1100 will remain happy. At least 4 of my friends have bought this mobile after I strongly recommended this to them. I am not sure how would I face them when they will find similar issue with their mobile service or will learn my story?

Hoping for a favourable solutions to my queries and also exact date and time of the product being repaired.

i Have been facing the same problem. Even I bought this phone some time in October and had to go to the service center within a week with the Mic problem. They kept my handset for 45 days without a resolution. Finally I got it in November and within 3 days o[censored]se it was back to the same. I have given it for repair thrice and the fourth time they replaced it to me with a new handset in december. Now it's april and the same problem haunts me again. I am tired of going to the service center where those people are not co-operative and extremely uncouth. Xolo/Lava You have to address this issue and come to a resolution.

My Mobile is with Xolo Q1000 opus for 4 months now

sir iam using xolo8x play1100 i want a silicon pouch or flip cover .here its not availble .how can i purchase that particle
