Yamaha Motor India — Self start stops working in yamaha fazer fi version 2.0 | |||
I had purchased a Yamaha Fazer Fi Version 2.0 in October 2015 from Vinayak Yamaha, Bangalore. After a month, I started facing problem with self start, as it stopped responding on red signal, when i wanted to turn on the engine. I reported this problem to the dealer, and they kept the vehicle for 2 days and also recognized the problem. They changed the relay as a solution. After relay change, it worked for 2 months and started giving the same problem. I don't know, what to do with this problem, when i can't switch on the ignition, as self start is not working and there is no kick provided in the vehicle. This is highly unsafe situation in bangalore's worst traffic condition. I am not sure, if vehicle delivered to me consists of a faulty self start system. Kindly advise.
