Dear Yatra Team, I would like to inform you that we had the worst experience with Yatra and hence would never recommend anyone to book holidays from Yatra. In fact, we had faced the problem since the beginning when we booked holidays. We had made the payment but your team was unable to track our payment details and they did not issue the payment receipt to us. The details of the same are there in the previous email conversations with your operation team. DETAILS OF THE PROBLEMS FACED DURING THE TOUR: Day 1 : Drive from Delhi to Shimla (330 km/approx. 9 hours) as mentioned in the Itinerary. But it took almost 12 hours for us to reach Shimla. We reached at 8 pm in the evening at Shimla. Since the hotel which was given to us 14 km away from Shimla and hence we could not go local sightseeing in Shimla. The Whistling Pines Resort, which was booked for us in Shimla, was equal to Guest House rather than a Resort. The room was pathetic. If you don’t believe us, we have clicked the photographs of the rooms. We will post this on the Facebook, so that other customers are not cheated. Not only the room, but even the food was worst quality. Since the resort was 15 km away from Shimla we had no option but to have the food from the same hotel. My son suffered from Food Poisoning after having the food from that hotel. Day2: Breakfast experience in Whistling Pines Resort. The Milk had some insects in the milk. I have clicked the photograph of the same. I have shared the entire experience of Shimla’s Whistling Pines Resort, with the customer care team of Yatra. But your team did not take any effort to solve our problem. We have requested for change in the Resort, but your team said that everything was perfect. Your marketing and operations team sitting in the AC office and earning money will never feel the problem that we had faced in Shimla. Your driver has not shown to us the two places Indira Tourist Park and Chini Bunglow mentioned in your itinerary. This indicates that you are cheating customers by just mentioning the names in the Itinerary and not actually taking to the places mentioned in the Itinerary. Day 3 Drive from Shimla to Manali : The Hilltone Resort which was booked for us 14 km away from Manali. So we could not go for the local sightseeing in Manali on the 3rd Day. Day 8 Drive from Dalhousie to Chandigarh (325 km/approx. 8 hours) The worst experience that we had was drive from Dalhousie to Chandigarh. There was a problem in the A.C. of the Innova Car. We had already informed to the owner of the Car (Mr. Chauhan) that condition of the Car was not good. We had to wait on the way, Pathankot for 3 hours. Imagine our situation, we had to wait on the highway in the hot summer along with twins of just 4.5 years. My family was irritated because of this most terrible experience. Because of this unnecessary halt at Pathankot for 3 hours, we reached Chandigarh at 6.30 pm. Your driver has taken us to the must visit places include Leisure Valley, Capitol Complex and Open Hand Monument. I donot understand that why you mention the names when you do not show us the places. What advantage do you get by cheating the customers who place such huge amount to you? Day9Drive from Chandigarh to Haldwani(250 km/approx. 5 hours). The information given in the Itinerary is wrong. The distance from Chandigarh to Haldwani is (434.7 km) approx and not 250 km. Don’t you think that such wrong information is misleading to your customers? I have all proofs of the communication through mail and phone calls. I can send you my phone call bill also which will clearly indicate that during the tour and before the tour, also how long we spoke to your customer care team to solve our issues which were obviously unresolved. Your
team didn’t provide the hotel as expected, did not show the
places mentioned in the Itinerary, Condition of the Car was poor, Had to
wait of Highway for 3 hours as the car was getting repaired at
Pathankot, Details
mentioned in the itinerary was incorrect (specially the distance, hours
and even the contact numbers of the hotels booked for us). Even before
we started the tour your team was inefficient in tracking our payments
made and issuing us the receipts. I will not leave
this matter. It's not the matter of the money that I have spend on
Holidays, but even the time and worst situation that my family (twins of
4.5 years) had faced because of your deficiency in services.
