[Resolved] Yatra.com — Hotel Booking - Payment made 20th Sep, Yatra says room not available on 24th Sep (Booking Ref No - [protected]) | |||||
Hi I have made my hotel booking for the coming weekend in Lonavala to spend a vacation with my family. Today afternoon (24/09/2015) I received a call from Yatra.com stating that the booking which I did for upcoming Saturday is now not available with the hotel. Immediately I gave a call to the hotel - Sunnny's retreat and inquired about my booking status and told them about the call I received from Yatra. The hotel owner told me that Yatra has listed discounted room price on Yatra.com website, which the hotel has not agreed with Yatra. He also told me that the rooms are very much available. Hence, till now Yatra has not come back to me again. Being a consumer and even making a advance complete payment I was unnecessarily dragged into their dispute. I am still not sure about my hotel booking made through Yatra.com even after making full payment. This is a pathetic experience and nobody from Yatra has called up and apologized for this harassment. Yatra.com is harassing and exploiting the consumers online!! Please refer to the below hotel booking details and the email received (attached). Hotel: Sunny's Retreat Rooms: Deluxe Non AC (Two Rooms) Check in 26th Sep 2015 Check out 27th Sep 2015 HOTEL ADDRESS: Plot No 7 Near HDFC Bank, Tungarali, LONAVALA 410401 PHONE:[protected] I had received the below email confirmation from Yatra.com: 'Congratulations!
