[Resolved]  Yatra.com — Refund for Flight Canceled by Airline

I purchased the following confirmed ticket from Yatra.com.

Around 10 days after purchase, Air India cancelled flight AI 754. They offered me the following option of next day flight.
AI 754 H 20JUN 5 IXS CCU DK[protected]JUN E 0 319 S

This was impractical since it meant missing the connecting flights.

I requested Yatra for a partial refund for the cancelled flight. There was no positive response. Also I travelled by Jet Airways from IXS-CCU to catch the connecting flights. This ticket was purchased by me at approx. Rs. 9, 600/-. Since then I have been regularly contacting Yatra for partial refund. However there is NO RESPONSE to e-mails and no action on telephone conversations. I talked with AI Customer Service and they informed I am entitled to partial refund but only through Yatra.

My complaint is that Yatra shows no initiative to address this issue and worse still, does not even bother to reply. My last three e-mails are un-replied.
