[Resolved] Yatra.com — Refund for unused part of program | |||
The tour was badly organized. The customer complaint service is really useless as I kept ollowing up with them until now for and finally they are saying they cannot return or process my claims. I am only asking for refund for the portion of the tour (excluding food and accomodation) which we missed due to 'Lehar'. Its been almost 30 days since i raised a complaint in the Yatra complaint center. We, me and my wife, booked for 'Brethtaking Andaman'. Tour started on 23rd Nov. We reached Portblair. 24th and 25th we had to stay in doors due to cyclone the port was closed and Yatra did not provide any alternative sight seeing for these two days. The next day, 26th was very very bad as the Yatra organizers left us in place called 'Chatam saw mill' and left for good!!! They did not accept calls from us. We had to manage and get on our own to the hotel!! As we missed three days of the itinerary, I am asking only for the below things. 1. The amount for cruiser portblair-Havelock - portblair(as the port authorities cancelled all the cruises, the money would have come back to Yatra as refund) - its is 2000 per person. 2.Snorkeling course + personal tool kit/equipment i.e 200+500=700 per person. 3.Amount spent on 26th Nov for travel arrangements and local sightseeing. The vehicle rent was 1600 for the half day. Total of 1600+(2X(2000+700))= Rs.7000 should be returned. Was this information helpful? | |||
