You Broadband — Problem not solved within stipulated time and poor response from customer service

I had requested an executive to come and collect the monthly subscription fee on 16th Jan. I was told this request will be processed between 4 to 12 working hours. I called back on 17th and I was told it will be done on the same day. Then today (18th) I called again in the morning and afternoon. Now they are telling me this request can't be processed until 19th. Apart from this everytime I call, I was told the request will be processed on the same day and now they are telling me it wasn't done until now because of holiday season. So shouldn't they have told the same at the beginning? And since when India has holiday season till mid Jan?
