I applied for reactivation of #[protected] on 11the jun 2016 at thakur village gallery, mumbai and visited them for follow ups 3 times. but still not activated. they changed the sim once. i have written on twitter 6 days back and they said that they will call me now - i am waiting for the call for 6 days. written to appellate and no reply. i have paid rs. 225 for the sim. but no activation yet. this is the worst service i have ever faced....

Money deducted without consent for vas superstore

I suddenly get an SMS from Airtel telling me that I have been charged 99 Rupees for some superstore service that I did not even subscribe for.

I immediately deactivated the service via sms and tried calling customer care. Just getting through to customer care is a pain let alone the long wait period. I guess Airtel knows that they are at fault and therefore complicate their IVR menu.

They told that it activates if we touch any link in d internet, but in my case, the service was activated when i did not even touch the internet the complete day .

Airtel enabling 3rd party service with any request

Airtel is enabling 3rd party service like "follo celebrities " and charged Rs 90 or more for that.

According Airtel customer care, if i click on any ads knowingly or unknowingly which connected to airtel in my mobile, the respectively 3rd party service will be activated.

but in my case, the service was activated when i did not even touch the internet the complete day .

i have no idea how airtel...
