activating VAS without customer consent

Activated unwanted number on my name

I got a message on my IDEA mobile stating my airtel number [protected] has been activated. I never asked for any number from Airtel and I have never asked for any mobile number porting service from idea to airtel.

Spoke to Airtel CSR and he was no help. I am concerned if they use this number for any suspicious activity / calling and bills are generated on my name, or worst come worst, land me any illegal issues.

AIRTEL HAS WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & LYING EXECUTIVES

Hi Everyone,

I have been facing serious issues with the way the Airtel Customer care operates.

I have a voice + combo plan of 549 in which I have been given 549 local minutes, 200 sms and 2gb of 3g data free.

I noticed that my internet was too slow to even open a small image on wattsapp.

When I inquired on 25-July-2013, TOO MY SHOCK IT WAS SAID THAT MY 2GB FREE SERVICE HAS BEEN DISACTIVATED....

Getting calls to pay bill even though billed settled

CHEATING BALANCE DEDUCTION

Disconnected using Airtel number without notification

I have couple of my Airtel Numbers [protected] and [protected] which has been disconnected for more than 15 days for a simple CUG transfer and Airtel customer care and local service center are totally unaware of what they are doing and the process. Connection not working and overcharged

Getting calls from Airtel even when DO NOT CALL Registry is opted

I have been getting calls from some executives from Airtel using a reliance number - [protected] and ask me to convert my prepaid number to postpaid. I am registered at "DO NOT CALL REGISTRY" on Airtel website but still keep on getting calls. I am surprized that how Airtel is giving Reliance mobile phones to their employees and ask them to use it???

Would request Airtel to have a look at the complaint. If needed...
