I have ordered a book 'Indian Economy' by Ramesh Singh, 2015 edition on 23rd June 2015 from Bookadda. The transaction ID is[protected]. Estimated dispatch date was 26th June, 2015. Here is a brief series of my calls with the customer care executives of bookadda:
Call made on 27th June : I was informed there was delay in despatch;it would be made on 29th.
29th June : Again 2-3 days delay.Book was packed and kept and courier service did not pick up the package. I waited.
6th July : My book was in reprinting stage with the publisher.(Contradicting all the previous information).Despatch to be made on wednesday(8th july)
10th July : To be despatched on 10th july and I would receive the same on 13th July.
Everytime I call up customer care, I am informed of different reasons for delay, which are often contradicting. During all these days, they did not even have the courtesy to send me mails. They are misleading customers with extremely varying delivery dates and are very unprofessional in handling orders. I have ordered the book in view of my exams in August. The inordinate delay is too unfortunate. Kindly look into the matter soon as possible since they have consistently failed to deliver.I want to urgently receive my order on 13th July or else I wish to cancel my order and I need FULL REFUND of the paid amount.Two mails, one send on order date and the other upon my frequent request is attached herewith.
