Spoke to customer service (Shravya) and she suggested I should write this to the Bose escalation team.
Here are the events that led to appalling & disgraceful experience, despite buying lakhs worth of products for past 15 years:
1. I gave my product to Bose service centre - Secunderabad Telangana in Sep-2022. (Refer to attached service receipt)
2. I didn't get a call from the Bose service centre after 2 weeks, got curious and I called back and they said they are working on it.
3. Again called in Oct'22, Nov'22, Dec'22 same response. Sometimes the lady (Imrana) at the reception says, your product will be ready, come and collect it tomorrow. Nothing was delivered after that.
4. I called in Jan-23 & Feb-23, the bose service centre contact number was out of service and I was afraid they might have closed down the centre.
5. Lastly, I drove to the service centre on 13-Mar-2023 and enquired about my product. They said the product cannot be fixed and take back your product. I said please write the same on the acknowledgement letter that it will not be fixed and why it took 6 months. They were hesitant to write the same and started behaving weirdly. Then I started recording it on video as a proof for escalation.
6. Mr Prakash threatened and blackmailed me, saying I will give your speaker back only if I delete the videos. Refer to Youtube links below.
7. Everyone who I spoke to at the service centre, saying I need to give a service receipt, then only they would return my speakers, despite me telling them several times I will give the service receipt after I see my speakers.
8. I have to literally beg for my speakers in front of all the customers like I beggar.
9. Finally they told me to speak to Mr Jagdish, who is site incharge, to resolve it. He was initially reluctant to give a reason for the long delay in servicing the product. However, after sometime they said they will give acknowledgement to end this fiasco.
10. My daughter and I, who is 5 years old, have gone through this horrific experience.
11. While I was at the service centre, at least 80% of people had bitter experiences, please see the CCTV footage on 13-Mar-2023 at bose service centre.
