I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the mishandling of my deposit for a property booking with Colive in Bangalore.
Initially, I was misled by a sales representative named Ashutosh, who provided me with details of a 2 BHK property, sharing images of a property in Hyderabad but providing the address of a different property in Bangalore. Despite this discrepancy, I paid a token amount to secure the booking.
Upon visiting the property, I discovered the discrepancy but was assured by Ashutosh that an alternative property was available. Dissatisfied with the alternative, I requested a refund, to which I was initially told the total token amount was refundable within an hour. However, upon request, they refused to refund the amount promptly.
Reluctantly, I stayed at the property and encountered numerous issues, leading to my decision to vacate after almost a year. Despite raising a notice for vacating, there were delays due to application glitches.
Even after vacating and fulfilling all obligations, I am still being harassed by Colive, demanding an additional payment of ₹5000, despite holding my deposit of approximately ₹12000. Their continued threats of legal action and refusal to respond to my communication attempts have left me distressed.
I request your immediate intervention to resolve this matter and facilitate the prompt refund of my deposit amount.
