I am based in Netherlands and had placed order to deliver cake for my sister's anniversary.
- Date of order placement: Apr 12, 2016 at 1:40 pm
- Date of expected order delivery - Apr 22, 2016 between 3 pm to 6 pm
- Order number: CA[protected]
- Order item: COCAK852 - Twin Heart Choco Vanilla Cake - 2Kg
- Charge: Rs 1950 for cake + 199 for delivery
On 22nd Apr (day of delivery), at 540 AM, I get an email from Country oven saying 'Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience because we couldn't deliver you order cos the delivery location is out of our delivery service area. In our attempt to serve you better and retain you as one of our valuable customers, we are going to refund your total amount into your account with in 8 to 10 working days.'
My complaints are as below:
- I had placed the order on 12th Apr. If the location was out of their delivery area, they should have informed me on the day I placed the order or earlier, so that I could have arranged from somewhere else.
- I am 2000 miles away from my country and expected to get the cake delivered to my sis for her first anniversary. But this unprofessional behavior of yours has ruined my entire plans and our sentiments
- Today is 13 May 2016, however I haven't yet received my refund, inspite of multiple emails being sent out.
I request a intervention here. This is very bad on part of Country oven
