1. I purchased one pair of crocs ladies slippers from dlf mall noida crocs outlet vide receipt number 85678 dated 6th march 2023 for my wife.2. She had been using the slippers at home and initially was satisfied by the quality.3. However after a few months it was noticed that the cloth lining pasted below the straps are peeling off.4. The photograph of the damaged pair of slippers and the receipt of crocs outlet is enclosed for reference.5. She had been using the slippers only indoors for daily use at home without any contact with water.6. She is comfortable with the design of the slippers but the pair sold to us were defective and that resulted in peeling off of the pasting from the straps.7. We took the defective pairs to the noida dlf mall outlet for complaint and exchange.8. However we were told it had to be taken to the workshop and would take time for the replacement.9. We purchased another pair of new crocs slippers for my wife for her daily use from the same crocs outlet and left the damaged pair at the outlet.10. We are yet to hear anything from the outlet on the replacement of the defective pair.11. As a reputed brand our complaint to be considered favorably and the defective pair of crocs ladies slippers to be replaced at the earliest.
Against the reference number 3950981 crocs sent a response on the above complaint on 31st july 2023. The response was very casual and not based on the facts of manufacturing defect. i sent the following response to crocs reply on the same day.
The reply is not only curt but unfortunate and not expected from a brand like crocs. A customer does not buy a guaranteed product from a reputed brand for only the warranty period. If this is the assurance of crocs to its customer that a few days beyond 90 days a product costing rs 3495 is useless then it is not only sad but as a customer, we feel cheated. We did not realise and expect that crocs treats its customers so poorly and the quality of your products are so inferior that you must take shelter under warranty. We not only feel cheated but have proven ourselves as fools by buying another pair the day we went to the store to return the defective pair. While social media will decide your misdeed and other customer handling forums from the government, for now i once again request you to investigate the matter from the manufacturing point of view for an exchange. request resolve the issue at the earliest.
As a customer i expect a positive resolution at the earliest.
