I shopped at Trichy and spent about RS50, 000/-. The cashier at the floor I spent the monies was not able to upload the points into my card.. He asked me to approach the customer care at the ground floor. The care officers (I) said that the system was down, (I) can’ t upload as I had enjoyed some discount. Such inconsistent information given without any verification or explanation. When I said that was not what was informed to me, she kept insisting that she was correct. I didn’t want to argue with her. I have my principles, I said I will not shop at POTHYs any longer and returned my card to them . Of course there is no loss to POTHYs because of one customer like me, but sad to see such a large shopping centre has staff who are untrained, unprincipled and do not know what they are doing.
