I got Jio Fiber trial offer on 1st April 2021 for Rs 1500 (Rs 500 security deposit + Rs 1000 installation charges) under which I was told that I will get a full money refund if I request uninstallation within 1 month.
I requested for uninstallation on 27th April 2021 via customer care which was acknowledged by the customer support person and they assured me an engineer will be sent to my home for uninstallation and the full amount will be refunded only if I return the device within 60 days from the date it was installed.
The appointment for device pickup was rescheduled 12 times and I followed up with the customer support via email, phone calls, and Twitter every time to know why it was rescheduled and asking them to pick up the device on time but to no avail (screenshots of emails and Twitter DM is attached).
The device was finally picked up on 6th June after multiple complaints but the customer care informed me that I will only get a refund of Rs 500 (Security deposit) and will not get Rs 1000 (installation charges) since the device was returned after 60 days which was no fault of mine.
I have complained about this to Jio customer care via email, phone calls, and on Twitter and have been following up on this with them on regular basis but there has been no resolution from them even after 4 months and they fail to provide me a Service Request number against the complaint.
Kindly look into this and please get me the refund of Rs 1000 which they have wrongly kept and harassed me unnecessarily for so long.
